My name is Stanisław Czech and I am a Polish translator. I haven’t consciously planned to become a translator but somehow it seems that for many years everything I have done added up to the best preparation course I could take. I have written more about my pre-translation days in a post Becoming a Polish Translator.
Vast majority of my work involves translation from English to Polish and proofreading of translated texts, however I offer also other services like for instance keyword research for SEO and managing large translation projects.
For many years I have lived on the verge of law and language. I can prove it with am Master Degree in Law, Diploma in Translation and being a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. In the meantime I have finished some courses, dropped off from others, lived and worked in many places in Europe and USA and benefited immensely from all these experiences.
Due to my background I frequently translate legal texts and documents, however my practice involves also texts regarding: business, housing and housing associations, education (including special educational needs), health and safety and other areas especially IT. For example I translate on regular basis both iOS and Android apps.
I have provided more detailed description of my services in the section Polish Translation available from the top menu.
